As we learn our ABC’s and 123’s, in art we learn the basic elements of line, shape and color.
This fall, join Pop-Up Art Studio as we learn about artists who make lines jump, zig-zag, dash and swirl, find shapes that shift into moving sculptures, and mix colors that pop, sizzle, blend and fade. Practicing techniques old and new, we'll arm our imaginations to create a variety of pieces using the medium of painting, printmaking, collage and more.
Pop-Up Art Studio is a collaboration between artists and educators who design art workshops that introduce students to creative inquiry and problem solving. Lessons aim to introduce students to artists old and new, local and international using original works as available to facilitate the making and reflection of our own artistic choices. |
