Admisssion Criteria

Requirements
Prospective parents are welcome to visit St. Joseph’s School-Yorkville for a tour and meeting with the principal. This combination helps to provide prospective newcomers with a more accurate depiction of our school community. In addition, the prospective student is required to take an admissions test, which will allow for the opportunity to assess the child’s academic performance.
 
 
Although the official registration begins in January/early February and is ongoing thereafter, the Pre-K 3 – Grade 8 admissions process begins in the fall. Registration is subject to available space..
 


To enroll at St. Joseph’s School-Yorkville for the 2010 - 2011 academic year, the following criteria apply:

The following documents and monies must be presented at the time of application for admission:
  • Completed application and application fee of $30.00
  • Original Birth Certificate and Social Security card
  • Immunization form completed fully based on age of applicant
  • Baptismal Certificate, if applicable
  • Report card(s) as indicated above
  • Standardized testing results as indicated above
  • Letter of recommendation as indicated above
For registration to be complete, the following documents and monies must be presented:
  • Registration Form, Census Form, and Tuition Contract (signed)
  • Completed 211S Form with current information, complete immunizations, and doctor's stamp/signature
  • Registration, Processing, Home School Association Fees
  • Application documents and fees listed above
During the academic year, new applicants are accepted for Pre-K 3 through Grade 8 based on the aforementioned criteria and available space.
